How it Works

Each MITRE Labs New Professionals member is hired as a full-time employee. The program facilitates learning across disciplines and problem sets, applying solutions in one domain to meet challenges in another. There’s ample opportunity to contribute to a variety of research programs, interact directly with government sponsors, industry, and academia, and build a professional network.

Most importantly, participants deliver MITRE’s mission: Solving problems for a safer world.

After completing the program, MITRE Labs New Professionals continue their career in the discipline they choose—anywhere within the company.
